On October 28, 2025 Representatives Nydia M. Velázquez (D-NY) and Alma Adams (D-NC) launched the Plant Powered Faculty Meals Pilot Act, H.R. 5867. The invoice was referred to the Home Committee on Training and Workforce.
This invoice, if authorized, would create a voluntary grant program for college districts to help faculties offering 100% plant-based meals and milk choices.
